about

A concept album about the illusion of short lived attraction we feel towards a close friend, usually experienced during the height of an emotional turmoil.

This album was originally comprised of all the unused songs from "A Notebook About Autumn", reworked into an entirely new concept album that was conceived during December 2017, only a few days after completing "A Notebook About Autumn".

Despite having the album's structure decided from the start, I continued to composing new songs as a backup, which is a usual process for me. This proved useful because after listening to a rough cut of the original listing, I found it to be very sub par and decided to restructure the whole album so it flowed naturally and the lyrics were reduced to give the feeling of expression through the music.

The album's music style builds on the previous album and improved with overdubs and better sound quality since the songs are not being interfered with outside noise.

Fun Fact: The album was inspired initially by Roger Waters' "Pros and Cons Of Hitch Hiking" and David Bowie's "Station To Station". However as the album's production progressed I found myself taking inspiration from Albert King's sentimental album "Born Under A Bad Sign" and Pink Floyd's overlooked "Obscured By Clouds".
